The San Francisco 49ers Foundation is the non-profit community funding extension of the San Francisco 49ers. Now in its 16th year, the 49ers Foundation supports development programs for underserved youth that keep them safe, on track and in school. A significant portion of its funding goes toward family violence prevention programs and activities that teach youth leadership and respect.
Through the leadership of 49ers team owners Denise and John York, the 49ers Foundation has donated more than $4 million over the last four years to non-profits throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Right now, an estimated 2.3 million children have a mom or dad in prison. The number is huge – but so is the opportunity. Angel Tree is a ministry that reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. It seeks to transform the lives of these families and to reconcile them to their Heavenly Father and each other. In Matthew 18:5 Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.” There are children right in your community who are among the most at-risk children in the nation. Angel Tree provides an opportunity to connect with those families and begin ministering to them at Christmas and then continue through a variety of year-round ministry opportunities.
Sun Valley Ski Tools Competition Team
Sun Valley Ski Tools was a huge help to me when I was making my way to the US Ski Team. Without their support, I would not have been able to afford to have the best gear possible. They gave me this oppertunity to persue my dreams, and now I am involved with the program to give other young racers the same chance I had.
Far West Masters Scholarship Program
This is a wonderful program unlike any other in American ski racing. The masters from the Far West region raise money throughout the year to award to deserving junior racers within the region. They have been able to raise an unbelievable amount of money and are a huge help to families in the area. They have helped ski racing flurish.
